Clip is a home movie of an American family during Christmas, 1970. Shows the interior of their decorated home and the family opening gifts and enjoying each other's company.

Begins with a decorated Xmas tree in the living room. Tree has silver garland and icicles as well as blinking lights and hanging, globular ornaments. At the top of the tree is a card that reads, in part “70,” i.e. 1970. Photos of family members - possibly school photos - hang from the wall. The family dog trots around a recliner.

A hallway to bedrooms is shown. A coat hangs on a closet door. A “sun” clock hangs on a wall next to an overhead lamp. A green garland is wrapped around a white railing. More Xmas ornaments are on display in the living room: Poinsettias sit on a small table with a lamp; a miniature, silver Xmas tree is on the floor next to the TV, which is on. A rocking chair sits next to the Xmas tree.

Other shots of the home include: A dark cabinet with a plastic-like fruit decoration; light green drapes hang beside family photos on a wall; a telephone is mounted to a wall in the kitchen; the “sun” clock is seen through the kitchen doorway; and a refrigerator, stacked with kitchen goods, stands beside cupboards and filled kitchen counters.

A new dishwasher has two ribbons on its front door. The Christmas tree, which is next to the dishwasher, is filled with presents beneath it.

Mother and son open presents. The son’s first present appears to be a teapot. His second and third presents appear to be a glass cup and a bottle of liquor. Mother’s present is perfume, which she sprays on her neck before beaming with delight.

Next, mother and father open presents together. Mother gets a “Crissy” doll with lustrous red hair, and dad gets a brown, striped tie and a blue, v-neck sweater. Mother also gets a coffee maker as well as the new dishwasher mentioned earlier; a box of dish soap sits in the dishwasher. Mother offers the camera a proud “beauty” pose next to her new dishwasher.

Son enters the home with his girlfriend, who wears a light-tan coat. He helps her remove the coat and hangs it in the hall. Girlfriend gives her boyfriend a jug labelled “BiG” as a present. Next, they both enter the living room, talk to each other and play around; boyfriend gives her a pat on the butt.

Grandpa opens his presents. One gift is a v-neck sweater, very similar to dad's v-neck sweater. Another gift grandpa receives is a voltmeter.

A tiny dog sits on a pillow that’s on a blue sofa in the living room. The dog appears to be friendly, wagging its tail quickly.

The clip’s last shot shows son in a red sports coat, smoking a cigarette, and walking towards the camera. He seems to be indifferent that he's being filmed.
