Shows an early form of networked computing called time sharing. A guy with a plaid shirt, beard, and afro walks up to a computer terminal and types something in. We see shots of people using a row of computer terminals in an office. Then a shot of network cables and telephone lines outside. Then a woman wheels a terminal into a wood paneled office and opens it up. Then there’s a shot of a woman opening a portable computer terminal that looks a lot like a typewriter. She turns it on and puts a telephone receiver onto a special hook on the computer that will act like an early modem.
