Sand, limestone, and soda ash are pushed into a furnace. Sheet of glass is produced in a factory from sand in a furnace. Men wearing hats inspect the sheets of glass as they emerge from the furnace. Machines cut the strip, grind, and polish the glass. Men in factory lift plate glass off the conveyor belt. The result is plate glass which is wheeled out on a huge conveyor belt and lifted by young men.
