Commercial for Era liquid detergent; young boy runs into house, startling grandmother, and shows his dirty shirt from riding his bike in the dirt and getting grease on it; grandmother uses Era liquid detergent and makes the boy promise that he doesn’t mention to his mother that she uses it; she pours Era into the washer and onto the dirty shirt, rubbing it in; after the laundry finishes, she pulls out the boy’s shirt, which shows no trace of dirt or grease, and he puts it on just as the mother and guest, who is surprised at how clean he is; boy gives up grandmother’s secret; end voiceover: “Liquid Era: outpowers the powders!”
