Shows him using a flat spatula to spread the frosting, using the cake wheel to spread the frosting evenly, using the piping tube to squeeze out ornamental designs on the cake. Eric takes the tube and makes various lines which make up the weavings of a basket. Then later adds sugar flowers and leaves to the cake.
