Fade into a table surface, in which gum paste is made-- with edible gum and sugar. Is then shaped into a dough, food coloring is folded in. MS of the artist rolling the dough out with a rolling pin, the dough is then flattened, laid onto a plate mold. The next shot features the artist taking a knife and shearing off the excess edges around the plate. The next shot is a bird’s-eye-view of the plate, as the artist adds wedgewood ornamental design onto the blue gum plate. Fade into the finished product as it rotates on a cake wheel. The next shot is a different sugar plate, darker in color against a backdrop of candied flowers rotating in a circle. Fade into a desk in which a plate of fruits made out of gum paste. The artist shapes the gum dough into an apple-shape, then adds a stem and gives it a natural color gloss to imitate a real apple.
