In a factory, a flow of bell peppers is flowing past some female vegetable inspectors on a conveyor belt. Huge cans of red vegetables are running down an assembly line and there is water flowing over their tops. VO explains that canneries need a way to use all this water. The scene changes to a ranch with large water apparatus. Scientists are testing the groundwater with beakers and a machine with a nuclear warning symbol. Some of the water is tepid, and some is clear. Cows graze in the distance.
