A commercial for Blue Bonnet Margarine. The words “Blue Bonnet” appear on the screen in lights. Lights surround the words, but soon a picture of a woman’s smiling face framed by a bonnet fades in. The picture turns out to be a box of margarine. The box moves away from the screen in stop motion. Still in stop motion, a man appears, puts on his glasses and smiles at the box. A jingle compares margarine to butter as a woman appears on screen, then disappears as the man eats margarine on bread. Words appear in lighted speech bubbles. The man and woman display of the box of margarine. Live action shots of margarine melting on bread, a potato and a pan with salmon in it. Shots of margarine poured over broccoli, melting over pancakes and sitting on a dish. The box appear on screen again.
