Scene opens to a domestic setting at a kitchen table, where two children are seated, we see their mother in the far right. A radio announcement is heard, notifying listeners to run to the nearest fall out shelter because of a nuclear attack. The mother and her children run for the basement, we hear an infant crying. Cut to an office where we see men vacating their desks and running for a shelter. Out on the street, we see people getting out of cars, and running out of stores in the direction of the nearest shelter. Scene closes with a low angle pointing up towards an on coming crowd (profiled) running for a shelter.
