This '50s clip begins with the title "Sawmaker for the world!"

Men in a boardroom look at products made by their saw company. A painting by EC Atkins hangs on a wall. An illustration of the shed wherein Atkins began making saws in in 1857 is shown.

The saw-making factory is shown, both interiors and exteriors. Small and large saws are worked on. An ordinary hand saw is made.

Blank steel plates or panels are heated in a furnace. They are then tempered, and a punch press cuts or creates their saw teeth. Lots of detailed close-ups of the production line. We also see the saw handles being attached to the blades.
