The Monarch of Bermuda, a big steam ship picked up some survivors and is carrying them to New York. Ambulances carry people from the ship. Dead bodies are carried off the ship. A young boy who lost his father and brother is shown in closeup. Another steam ship picked up passengers and the captain is shown in closeup as more dead are carried off the ship. A dazed woman is helped off the ship while other stunned survivors are shown. One man is interviewed who jumped in the water and had to stay afloat for seven hours. Another man says he had to stay three hours in the water. A young woman says she was in the water for five hours.
