Excerpt from a Laurel and Hardy comedic short titled Their First Mistake (1932)

After adopting a baby to "solve all their worries", Hardy brings it home to show his wife, only to find her gone. He is then served divorce papers and Laurel is sued by Hardy's wife for essentially breaking up their marriage. The two "friends" are then stuck with a baby. They immediately fall into classic marital fights regarding children.
