Here’s a Wheaties Sports Federation profile of basketball player Charlie Scott when he played for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, circa 1968 to 1969. Scott would go on to play for the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and other NBA teams.

In the clip, Scott plays in a game for UNC against the University of Maryland. He also talks about a lesson he learned playing basketball briefly in Mexico.

Bob Richards, the Director of the Wheaties Sports Federation, tells us that most of the college coaches of the US recognized Scott as a top basketball player and thus cast their votes for Scott to be an all-American Wheaties athlete.
