Home movie footage appears to show the San Francisco Police Department’s effort to shut down the student strike at San Francisco State College, circa 1968-1969. The strikers may be members of the Third World Liberation Front (i.e., TWLF), which, at the time, pushed to establish Ethnic Studies programs in universities.

Police, wearing riot gear, populate and patrol the San Francisco State College campus.

Some civilians stand and watch the police while other civilians are approached by police and are either arrested or ushered away.

Police board an armored truck - a kind of paddy wagon - and drive away.

A number of people, including cops, carry and use cameras, photographing and filming the events unfolding for posterity, if not evidence.
