This 1992 clip shows mostly youth protesting against Pat Buchanan and other Republicans in Chicago, Illinois. At the time, Buchanan was running for the US presidency.
One protestor’s sign reads, “George Bush, David Duke, Pat Buchanan. All racist, all Republican. Things that make you go hmmmm....”
Other signs say: “Buchanan is a Racist”; “Stop Hate!”; and “Bigot, Unscrupulous, Crazy, Homophobic, Antiabortion, Nazi, Anti-Semitic, Neanderthal,” which “BUCHANAN” is an acronym for.
As they walk in a semi-circle, the protestors chant, in part, the following: “Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Pat Buchanan go away.”
