Back in England at Whitehall Palace, the Puritan Charter is investigated. A man, Sir Ferdinando Gorges, founder of Maine, shown in MCU, tries to take control of Massachusetts. The Puritan Charter is argued over, and Thomas Morton defends himself. Some other Puritans say they banished him to England because of his mistreatment of the Indians, but Morton claims to have preached about Puritan teachings. In MS, he speaks to the Indians as he reads from the Bible.
