Film taken in a Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osborn Inc. Advertising office setting with people dressed in business attire. Clip opens with man opening office doorway. Text on door’s frosted glass window reads: “Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osborn Inc. advertising.” The man approaches a receptionist counter and talks to smiling receptionist. Another man glances through papers spread across his desk, answers phone, shakes head and gives an emphatic “no.” He hangs up, scratches chin in thought, then does a decisive pointing/shaking hand gesture at someone off screen. More answering-a-phone shots follow, including: a woman smiling brightly and talking energetically, a man who continues to flip through papers as he talks on phone, a man who throws down a Variety newspaper in annoyance before answering phone, a man jotting notes as he talks on phone, a man makes a surprised expression as he talks on phone. A man opens a manila mail envelope at his desk. Another man holds up what looks like a caricature of himself and points to it proudly. A woman sits at a typewriter. Two women approach and huddle behind her, leaning over to look at what she was typing. Two men come and lean over the two women.
