An old ranchero tells the story of his ranch to a little boy. A ranchero, or ranch hand stretches cow hide on the ground and stakes it to the ground to stretch and dry it. He scrapes off the tallow with a blade. He melts the fat chunks in a vat and then pours it into a hole in the ground. Two ranch hands carry bundles of goods to be traded.
