An old ranchero tells the story of his ranch. A native Mexican man carries rawhide strips to a water hole. He ties the wet rawhide between two poles and scrapes off the hair with a blade. He then trims each strip. He ties and weaves the hide into a braided rope, for a riata or lasso.
